Volkswagen Passat B7 was officially presented during the automotive exhibition in Paris in October 2010 as a thoroughly modernized version of the B6 model marked with a new symbol. History and description of the model. In relation to the B6 model, the design of the body has been changed, which received more angular lines. The front of the vehicle has been redesigned and the rear lamps have been significantly modernized. Stylistically, the vehicle refers to the currently produced Jetta and Phaeton replaced in 2015 by Arteon. The interior of the vehicle remained almost unchanged. Only the finishing materials have been improved, the front seats have been redesigned and an analog watch has been placed over the center console. At the end of 2011, during the Tokyo Motor Show, the all-told version of the vehicle was presented - Alltrack. The car received increased ground clearance, four-wheel drive and plastic wheel arch covers and bumpers. The same drive units were used in the vehicle, which were produced in the B6 model. Equipment versions: Trendline (S), Comfortline (SE), Highline (SEL), Exclusive, Edition 40, 2012 Edition, Alltrack. Depending on the vehicle's equipment version, the car can be equipped with: ABS and ESP, airbags, electric window controls, electric mirror controls, multifunctional steering wheel, LED daytime running lights, fog lights, xenon headlights, cruise control, satellite navigation system, blind spot monitoring, Park Assist parking assistance , XDS, which brakes the wheel loosing grip and the leather steering wheel.
