Diesel engine The diesel fuel should be with cetane index higher than 50, sulfur content less than 10 ppm (parts per million) and up to 7 % of biodiesel (87) as FAME (Fatty Acid Methyl Ester). You should use the diesel fuel con- formable to EN590 that corresponds to Euro VI emission control. Do not use marine diesel fuel, heating oils, etc. If you use improper diesel fuel, it may cause serious engine damage.
