Emergency fuel filler flap release ¤ Please first read and note the introductory information and heed the WARNINGS There is no emergency release for the fuel filler flap. Contact an authorized Volkswagen dealer or an authorized Volkswagen Service Facility for assistance. Emergency closing of the power sunroof ¤ Please first read and note the introductory information and heed the WARNINGS If your power sunroof will not close properly, do not try to close it yourself, doing so can cause serious and expensive damage that will not be covered by any Volkswagen Limited Warranty. Special knowledge and tools are required to close the power sunroof if it will not close on its own. To help prevent damage to the sunroof, have an authorized Volkswagen dealer or an authorized Volkswagen Service Facility help you close and repair the power sunroof. Emergency release for the selector lever lock ¤ Please first read and note the introductory information and heed the WARNINGS If the vehicle battery is dead or the power supply fails for another reason and you want to have the vehicle towed, the gearshift selector lever must first be released with the emergency procedure. Get professional assistance. WARNING Never shift the transmission out of Park (P) unless the electronic parking brake is engaged. Otherwise, the vehicle can start to roll unexpectedly, especially on hills or inclines, and cause an accident and serious personal injury. NOTICE Even with the selector lever is in Neutral (N), the automatic transmission will be damaged iff the vehicle is towed (or you let it coast) for an extended period or at high speed with the engine shut off.
