Settings menu Function Compass Calibrate the compass on vehicles without a factory-installed navigation sys- tem. To calibrate, follow the instructions in the instrument cluster display. Units Set the units in which temperature, fuel consumption, and distances should be displayed (for example, whether to show distance driven in miles or kilome- ters). Tire pressure Reset the tire pressure, for example after replacing tires. Alt. speed Activate/deactivate the alternative speed display (mph or km/h). dis. Service View the service reminder display. Factory Reset the functions in the Settings menu back to the factory settings. setting Applicable only in the United States Convenience submenu ¤ Please first read and note the introductory information and heed the WARNINGS Convenience Function menu ATA confirm The horn beeps once when the vehicle is locked with the remote control vehi- cle key if ATA confirm is checked. Easy Open Turn the sensor-controlled luggage compartment lid (Easy Open) on or off, if equipped. If Auto lock is enabled (box checked), all doors and the Auto lock luggage compartment lid lock automatically after the vehicle reaches a speed of about 10 mph (15 km/h). You can enable or disable Auto unlock. If Auto unlock is Central enabled (box checked), the doors automatically unlock when locking you switch off the ignition and open a door from inside the vehicle. On vehicles with automatic transmission, the doors Auto unlock will also unlock when the selector lever is in Park (P) and the ignition is switched off. Auto unlock works only if the vehicle has been automatically locked after reaching a speed of 10 mph (15 km/h). Auto unlock always unlocks all the doors.
