When the ignition is switched on and memory 1 or 2 is displayed, press the /+2%3%4 button on the windshield wiper lever or the OK button on the multi-function steering wheel to toggle between the 2 memories. The memory accumulates and stores information about distance driven and fuel used from the time the ignition was switched on until the time it 1 Single trip memory was switched off. If the ignition stays off for 2 hours or more, stored information is automat- ically deleted. If the trip is continued within 2 hours after the ignition was switched off, the new values are added. Depending on the instrument cluster version, the memory displays and stores the accumulated driving and fuel consumption data of any number 2 Total trip memory of single trips up to a total driving time of either 19 hours and 59 minutes 99 hours and 59 minutes, and up to a total distance of either 1,999 km or 2 9,999 km. If one of the maximum values is exceeded, then the memory is automatically cleared and starts again from 0. Consumption Current fuel consumption in miles per gallon (l/100 km) while driving. --.- mpg When units are set to miles, dashes appear instead of a number when Consumption the engine is running and the vehicle is standing still. --.- l/100 km When units are set to kilometers, the display shows liters consumed per hour when the engine is running and the vehicle is standing still. Av. consumption Average fuel consumption in miles per gallon (l/100 km) on trips per trip --.- mpg memories 1 and 2 (toggle) is displayed once the vehicle has been driven Av. consumption about 330 feet (100 m). Until then, dashes appear instead of a number. --.- l/100 km The value displayed is updated every 5 seconds. Range -- mi Estimated distance in miles (km) that the vehicle can go with the fuel left Range -- km in the tank the way you are currently driving. Takes account of the cur- rent fuel consumption, among other things. Route -- mi Distance driven in miles (km) per trip memories 1 and 2 (toggle). Route -- km Odometer The odometer indicates the total distance driven by the vehicle. Average speed Average speed on trips per trip memories 1 and 2 (toggle). Displayed -- mph once the vehicle has been driven about 300 feet (100 m). Until then, Average speed dashes may appear instead of a number. The value displayed is updated -- km/h every 5 seconds. -- mph Digital display of the current vehicle speed. -- km/h Oil temperature Current engine oil temperature (digital display). 2 May differ depending on the version of the instrument cluster.
