qOperatingTipsforCDPlayer/In- l The CDrevolves at high speed within
DashCDChanger the unit. Defective (cracked or badly
Condensation phenomenon bent) CDs should never be used.
Immediately after turning on the heater

optical components (prism and lens) in the
CDplayer/changer may become clouded
with condensation. At this time, the CD
will eject immediately when placed in the
unit. A clouded CD can be corrected
simply by wiping it with a soft cloth.
Clouded optical components will clear l Donotusenon-conventional discs
naturally in about an hour. Wait for such as heart-shaped, octagonal discs,
normal operation to return before etc. The CD player/changer could be

Handling the CD player/In-dash CD
changer
Thefollowing precautions should be
observed.
l Donotspill any liquid on the audio
system.
l AnewCDmayhaveroughedgeson

with rough edges is used, proper
setting will not be possible and the CD
player/changer will not play the CD.
Removetheroughedgesinadvanceby
using a ball-point pen or pencil as
shownbelow. To remove the rough
l Donotinsert any objects, other than edges, rub the side of the pen or pencil
CDs, into the slot. against the inner and outer perimeter of
the CD.
