Replacing fuses
B Checkthefuseconcernedandreplaceit with a
fuse of the same rating (in other words, a fuse
A with the same colour as the one for the
corresponding fuse on the label).
Usetweezers 1toremovethefuseconcerned.
1 Fuses R are spare fuses.
R C Slide the fuse sideways to remove it from the
tweezers.

If an incident occurs in an electrical component, check first of all that the fuses are sound.
If there is a short circuit, isolate the battery by turning the green nut, which covers the negativeCORRECT INCORRECT
terminal of the battery, a few turns. Under no circumstances should you disconnect the positive
terminal before the negative terminal.
Passenger compartment fuse box A can be found “under the passenger's feet”.
Toopenit,lift the carpet and remove the cover (for example, using the wheelbrace provided for the
emergency spare wheel).
Use the fuse identification label on the cover of the fuse boxB to help you locate the fuses.
IMPORTANT
A wise precaution: obtain a box of spare
bulbs and fuses from your RENAULT
Dealer.
