Fig. 104 In the luggage compartment: Removing the luggage compartment cover. ¤ Please first read and note the introductory information and heed the WARNINGS Opening the luggage compartment cover x Grasp the luggage compartment cove⇒r fig. 103 (1) by the handle and pull it slightly to the rear. x Move the luggage compartment cover down slightly to unhook it from the side retainers (arrows) and then guide it forward to retract it. Closing the luggage compartment cover x Pull the retracted luggage compartment cove(1)r evenly towards the rear. x Hook the luggage compartment cover into the left and right side retainers (arrows). Convenience position for the luggage compartment cover To help make it easier to load the vehicle, the luggage compartment cover can be moved to a higher position. x With the luggage compartment cover closed, fold up the flap where the handle is located. The luggage compartment cover automatically moves to the convenience position. x To return the luggage compartment cover to the original position, grasp the handle and pull down evenly. Then hook the luggage compartment cover into the side retainers ⇒ .
