12 THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTINGYOUR VEHICLE AWORDABOUTYOURKEYS The keys for your new vehicle are enclosed in a plastic bagwiththekeycodenumberonit.Ifyoureceivedyour keys without the bag, ask your authorized dealer to give you the number. The key code can also be obtained by your authorized dealer from your vehicle invoice. Ignition Key Insert the key fully, then turn the switch to one of the four illustrated positions. The key can be inserted or with- drawnonlyintheOFFposition.Thegearshiftlevermust be in the P (Park) position. Ignition Key Positions To remove the ignition key, place the gearshift lever in P (Park), turn the ignition key to OFF and remove the key.
